The Cross the Victory

*The Cross the Victory*
Looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of God.
(Heb 12:2 MKJV)
*The crucifixion of Jesus was God’s master plan to not only reveal His love to mankind, but also to crush the enemy and make it possible for all who believe in Jesus to receive salvation and son-ship. This is why the bible tells us it was Joy for Jesus to endure the cross and despise the shame, for He saw the great victory His suffering would bring. This was the very reason why Jesus Christ was born to be the sacrificial Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world.
*Visualize and remember the cross that is where Jesus Christ won your right for freedom, son-ship and eternal salvation. Hold unto the victory Christ won for you. The enemy knew a savior was coming and wanted to kill Him hence he killed all the babies in the suspected range. . . Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was greatly enraged. And he sent and killed all the boys in Bethlehem, and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had carefully inquired of the wise men. (Mat 2:16)
*The enemy wanted to destroy God’s son and when he found out who He was tried tempting Him and sought ultimately to kill Him. The enemy was ignorant of the wisdom of God, of Jesus being the sacrifice, this is why when Jesus was dying on the cross he inspired people to mock Jesus and tell Him to come off the cross. . .The people stood there watching. But the rulers were making sarcastic remarks. They said, "He saved others. If he's the Messiah that God has chosen, let him save himself!" The soldiers also made fun of him. They would go up to him, offer him some vinegar, and say, "If you're the king of the Jews, save yourself!" (Luk 23:35-37) The enemy felt his authority leaving and realized Jesus was the sacrifice and should not be killed. Oh Glory to God it was too late as Jesus died our victory was cemented eternally. . . When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.(Joh 19:30)

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
(1Co 2:7-8 KJV)
