ETERNAL WORDS

ETERNAL WORDS

*As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore. So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?" Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.

(Joh 6:66-68 NASB)

*When Jesus told His disciples they should eat His flesh to inherit eternal life, they took it literally and many (but not all) stopped following Him. Those that remained had heard the wholesome comforting and powerful eternal words Jesus spoke.

*The words of Jesus even affected the temple guards. . . When the temple guards returned, the chief priests and Pharisees asked them, "Why didn't you bring Jesus?" The temple guards answered, "No human has ever spoken like this man." The Pharisees asked the temple guards, "Have you been deceived too? (Joh 7:45-47) There is Power in the words of Jesus which are the Word of God.

*The answer to every problem is the eternal Word of God. When every other possible solution fails, hold unto the truth of God’s everlasting Word which will never fail you, only BELIEVE! It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (Joh 6:63)

*God has spoken His Word it has been recorded in the bible. His Word is Spirit meaning it is adaptable to every situation and is alive and active. Get His eternal Words into your Spirit, hear, speak and believe it. . .And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. (Psa 12:6)
