REDEMPTION IN CHRIST

*REDEMPTION IN CHRIST*

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

(Rom 3:24 KJV)

*Redemption is the act of redeeming, that is to deliver, ransom or set free from something. A slave could be redeemed from slavery, in the same way nowadays a certain crime can be settled by paying a fine instead of someone doing jail time. Without Christ a human being is still bound and tied to slavery to evil and the world and its systems but this is not so for a born again believer.

*Those that have accepted Jesus Christ have got salvation, redemption, freedom and have been ransomed from the wickedness of the world. It is only by the blood of Jesus that souls can be saved and set free nothing else can pay for a person’s salvation . . . Even of those who trust in and lean on their wealth and boast of the abundance of their riches? None of them can by any means redeem [either himself or] his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him-- (Psa 49:6-7)

*It cost God the life of His son Jesus Christ for your eternal freedom and salvation from all evil. That is a big price! Do not take the blood of Jesus for granted, your life must reflect the liberty that the blood of Jesus bought. God bought your freedom so your life can shine with His Glory . . . Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Tit 2:14)

*Realize that you weren't set free from the worthless life handed down to you from your ancestors by a payment of silver or gold which can be destroyed. Rather, the payment that freed you was the precious blood of Christ, the lamb with no defects or imperfections. (1Pe 1:18-19) You are God’s property for He bought you by the blood of Jesus, you must therefore Glorify God in this life by obeying His Word to allow His perfect Will to take place.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1Co 6:19-20)

PRAYER

Thank you Father for purchasing my freedom and salvation from every form of evil. I realize that my life belongs to you and is in your hands, perform your perfect predestined Will in me in the name of Jesus. AMEN

SEE;

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

(Eph 1:4-7)
