*RELY ON GOD*
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1Co 1:9 NKJV)
Our trust is also our reliance. We must learn to rely on and trust God firstly. In everything the first one to know of anything major in our lives must be our Father. God is faithful and can be trusted. When we speak of our heavenly Father we speak of someone who cannot lie, therefore He can and should be trusted, There are these two things, then, that cannot change and about which God cannot lie. So we who have found safety with him are greatly encouraged to hold firmly to the hope placed before us. (Heb 6:18 GNB)
It is easy for someone to say I trust the Lord, however as soon as a problem arises they rush to call someone for help. There is nothing wrong with requesting help from people, but if we trust God we should not immediately seek help from people. We must rely on Jesus, seek help from Him and He will move people or situations to your advantage. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb 12:2 KJV)
To rely on Jesus is to trust him over your bank in finances, over a doctor in your health and over a counsellor in your decisions and so on. God is faithful, talk to Him and trust Him for all your needs. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Php 4:19 KJV)
*PRAYER*
Lord Jesus I trust you for you are faithful to your word. I rely on you right now and always in everything. Lord Jesus I trust you as my doctor, provider and good shepherd. Thank you for your faithfulness. Amen
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
