*ONE WORD TO THE NEXT WORD*
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will you have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.
(Act 9:6 KJ2000)
The Lord guides us by His Word and gives us instructions every step of the way in order to reach our destiny. Saul when he had an encounter with Jesus was told to go into the city to receive his next guiding word. So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you may get your sight back and be filled with the Holy Spirit." (Act 9:17 NLT)
Paul received his sight, was filled with the Holy Ghost and received further direction from God through Ananias. If Paul delayed in obeying the first instruction he would have delayed the next step in his destiny. Everything God tells you to do is for your progress. Delayed obedience is disobedience and grieves the Spirit of God. God desires you to move forward and needs your prompt obedience and continual passion for Him. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1Th 5:19-21 KJV)
When you receive a prophetic word the Holy Spirit in you will confirm that it’s for you. People may miss the mark in prophecies but hold unto the prophecies the Holy Ghost gives you. This may be through servants of God, saints of God or a direct word from God. Write them down, pray and declare them, then allow God to fulfill them. This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, (1Ti 1:18 NKJV)
*ACT*
Write down in a book all the Words of instruction Holy Spirit gives you and prophecies you receive and have received. Record the dates. Act on the words of instruction and declare the prophecies you’ve received.
The steps of the godly are directed by the LORD. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psa 37:23 NLT)
