*FEAR NOT*
And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
(Deu 31:8 KJV)
The phrase that appears the most times in the Bible is “fear not”. This has great significance and implies it’s a message God wants us to hear. God’s Word is not about torment or fear but about peace and love. All the enemies’ weapons stem from one thing and that is fear, he will push fear as much as possible in order to attack. Any fear of anything is not of God and doesn’t come from Him.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2Ti 1:7 KJV) As a born again believer you have the spirit of Christ in you. Resist the devil resist fear and it will flee from you. A salesman moves on when he realises a customer won’t buy, the same goes for the devil he leaves you when he realises you won’t buy his lies.
Daniel was not afraid to be thrown into the lion’s den, David was not afraid of goliath, the Apostles after being beaten were not afraid to continue preaching Jesus. This same spirit of love resides in us as believers. Only entertain love and cast out any spirit of fear.
*DECLARATION*
I am born of God. I have the Holy Spirit in me. I have a spirit of love and of power and of a sound mind. I resist fear and the devil because the perfect love of Jesus Christ is alive and burning in me. In Jesus name.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
