BELIEVING IS SEEING

*BELIEVING IS SEEING*
The servant on whose arm the king was leaning answered the man of God, "Could this happen even if the LORD poured rain through windows in the sky?" Elisha replied, "You will see it with your own eyes, but you won't eat any of it."
(2Ki 7:2 GW)
We are told that the scriptures were written for us to learn from and receive comfort. It is often said that history repeats itself. To this I agree as Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever so there will be a clear pattern in life. Samaria was going through a terrible famine where bird dung was being sold and parents were eating their children. (see 2Ki:6) Then the prophet Elisha said this would end in a day and one of the Kings servants doubted. We see the end result that the famine ended in a day and the man saw this but did not experience it, exactly as the prophet said.
Throughout the bible and modern history whenever there has been great trouble the supernatural hand of God brings this to an end. Almost every great revival comes after a great trouble. In the Argentina revival the inflation rate dropped from 1000% to below 1% in record time. Even now in 2020 I see very clearly a great revival breaking out soon.
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. (Gal 3:6-7 KJV)
To see in the spirit is to agree with what the Holy Ghost is saying. Whether someone is born again or not the believers are the one that see and are blessed. Just like Abraham who believed God and saw Isaac in God’s word of promise. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. (Joh 8:39 KJV) He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. (Joh 8:47 KJV) True believers are believers and they are partakers of the promises of God. The Pharisees proclaimed to believers but Jesus told them they were not because they did not receive the word. The same is true today for many want to see and then believe.
Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (Joh 20:27-29 KJV)
*HEAR BELIEVE AND SEE*
(It happened exactly as the man of God told the king, "Forty-eight cups of barley will sell for half an ounce of silver. And twenty-four cups of the best flour will sell for half an ounce of silver. This will happen about this time tomorrow in the gateway to Samaria." Then the servant answered the man of God, "Could this happen even if the LORD poured rain through windows in the sky?" Elisha answered, "You will see it with your own eyes, but you won't eat any of it.") So this is what happened to the king's servant: The people trampled him to death in the gateway. (2Ki 7:18-20 GW)
