*HAVE PRAISE SESSIONS*
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
(Psa 34:1 NKJV)
David went through many challenges ups and downs. He made mistakes but overcame. Most importantly David worshipped and praised God. The Lord even said David was a man after His own heart. David said by the Holy Ghost: bless and praise God continually. Praise is not just about dancing and clapping hands, that is not praise. There is spirit of praise that moves heaven to respond and shakes hell.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. (Psa 42:5 KJV) As a Christian you cannot allow attacks in your mind or situations to put you down. If ever you feel this, praise God in the Spirit. As you praise God the presence of God is activated and situations change. Miriam automatically took a timbrel and began to praise God when they overcame the Egyptians. David removed his royal attire in order to praise God when the ark of God returned. Paul and Silas praised God in prison and it caused them to be set free Praise God!
Anyone who ever praises God in the Spirit normally does so after a big testimony. When you praise God you are making a declaration of victory. Sing and praise; in the name of Jesus we have the victory. Remember anything God has ever done for you. Don’t be fooled by the enemy who will say you can’t praise God in such a situation. It is always a good time to praise Jesus. Put your mind and body in control and Praise Jesus for He is good. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yes, sing praises! (Psa 98:4 AMP) Praise prophecies victory.
*ACT*
Have Praise time not just in Church meetings. Declare your victory in Praise.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.(Act 16:25-26 KJV)
And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: "Shout, for the LORD has given you the city! (Jos 6:16 NKJV)
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. (Isa 12:4-5 KJV)
