*THE BATTLE IS THE LORDS*
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. (2Ch 20:15 KJV)
Hallelujah! We rely on the Power of God He is our deliverer and Saviour. Whenever anything arises against us we know and must remember we have a Saviour Jesus Christ. Judah was faced
with a difficult battle and the Lord spoke through one of the Priests who prophesied that God said the battle is His. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. (2Ch 20:17 KJV)
Having received this word the King consulted with his leaders and in response to this word sent singers to Praise and Worship God ahead of the army. In normal sense this would seem as sacrificing the singers as they would face the heat of the battle. As they praised God the Lord destroyed their enemy. Now we have the word that Jesus has won the battle, how should we respond? We must respond as the people of Judah did by Praising and Worshipping our Father for giving us the victory over enemies. These enemies are any problem troubling you.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isa 54:17 KJV) This is the prophetic Word the LORD has given us we must respond by believing and acting in faith. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. (Joh 19:30 KJV) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Col 2:15 KJV) Jesus has won the battle and victory for us.
*PRAY*
Father thank you for getting me the victory over all evil. I trust that you have already gone before me and destroyed the armies of the enemy. In faith I will continually worship you in Jesus name. Amen
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. (2Ch 20:21-22 KJV)
For every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory. And the ones who win this battle against the world are the ones who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
