Goodness to repentance

 *Goodness to repentance*

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
(Rom 2:4 MKJV)
*Jesus is judge of all but is also the most merciful of all. He is patient not willing that any man should perish but is ever patient calling out to men that they may obtain salvation. Some religious people can even plead with God as to why He hasn’t sent a wicked person to hell yet, but no God loves them too and will be kind to the wicked hoping they change their ways. . .In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and on the unjust, too. (Mat 5:45)
*In as much as God does discipline His children, He will not always use the rod of correction but will have pity on us. Even though you may have done something wicked and think “well God never punished me so I guess I can do it again”, He showed mercy to you hoping you will repent this is the mercy and loving-kindness of Jesus. . .As far as the east is from the west- that is how far he has removed our rebellious acts from himself. As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD has compassion for those who fear him. (Psa 103:12-13)
*God can even continually increase you in life despite of the lifestyle you are living, because you are His child. He may not be pleased with your lifestyle but will continually bless you and shower you with goodness hoping that you will turn from your wicked ways and follow His path of righteousness . . .O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endurethfor ever. (Psa 136:1)
*Jesus desires to keep you in His perfect Will in His Kingdom just as how the father ran towards the prodigal son when he saw him afar off even before his son repented. (Luk 15:20) If God shows goodness to the wicked how much more will he to His children. Realize that your heavenly Father desires you to enjoy the light of His Glory acknowledge His goodness and mercy in your life and change where necessary.
*ACT*
Reflect on the times you have experienced the mercy and goodness of God in your life.
*See more;
He looks upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things works God twice, three times, with man, To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of life.
(Job 33:27-30 KJ2000)
