*JESUS WON THE VICTORY. STAND ON IT IN THE SPIRIT*
[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. (Col 2:15 AMP)
Jesus came to earth with a mission to disarm the devil. Through His death and resurrection Jesus Christ won the victory for us Hallelujah! The enemy currently is not dead but has no power over Christians. The devil only lies and has to battle in the flesh because in the spirit he knows he is defeated. The mind (soulish realm) and the flesh (physical realm) is where he wants you to come down and fight. Never drop down to the playing ground of the mind and the flesh where the tempter will want you to come down to fight. Stand in the spirit there’s no need for fighting, but standing in the spirit on the rock who is Christ.
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.(Mat 4:3-4 KJV) The enemy even before he was defeated tempted Jesus with a fleshly battle of hunger while He was fasting and then riches and then testing God and finally to worship him. Look at the cunning build up based on physical things first and then spiritual. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season. (Luk 4:13 KJV)
Jesus won the battle during His forty day fast but notice the devil left Jesus to try and beat Him again later. The enemy even used Peter to try and prevent Jesus from fulfilling His mission. Jesus even rebuked Peter saying get behind me satan to Peter. Lastly on the cross the enemy came with his last temptation to Jesus urging him to come down from the cross and thus fail in His mission. And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, "You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross." (Mat 27:39-40 NKJV)
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (Joh 19:30 NKJV) Now Jesus has defeated the devil. Therefore whatever may come against you in the physical or mental realm, be it in your body, relationships, finances, feelings and so on. Take all of these into the spirit and stand there on God’s word. Do not be deceived to fight in the flesh or with the natural mind. Stand in faith in the spirit that’s where your victory is.
*DECLARATION*
I stand on the truth of the Word of God. I declare that I have received righteousness as a gift therefore my life is a testimony of the victory Jesus Christ won for me. I have received faith trough my salvation and refuse to believe the lies of the enemy. I stand on the Word of God; that Jesus has already won my victory over all evil in Jesus name. Amen
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
