*CALLED TO BE LIGHT*
Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. (Mat 5:15 AMP)
Jesus has called people to Him, given them His nature and Spirit by being born again. As a born again believer you have tremendous Power of the Holy Ghost in you. Any Christian no matter how big, small, young or old has the ability to make a tremendous impact. Jesus said we are not we are like but WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. (Mat 5:14 KJV)
Darkness cannot exist in light but light can exist in darkness, this is the Power of the Kingdom of God over the kingdom of the devil. The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. (Joh 1:5 NLT) Realise today that you are called not just to say thank you Jesus I’m saved and my life is in your hands. Your calling is to be light in darkness and eliminate it. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Mat 5:16 KJV)
The works of light are bringing the message of hope, love, mercy and forgiveness in the midst of a corrupt and dark place. The darker the situation the more you should arise and shine. How? Jesus will speak to you as He calls you to that area where you are to be an answer. The most obvious is to share the Goodnews of the word of God to any who may receive. Mother Teresa made a global impact supporting the poor but started by feeding one or two homeless people at a time.
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

*DECLARATION*
I am the light of the world. I am a member of the body of Christ of His flesh and of His bones. The light of the Glory of Jesus Christ lives in me. This light shines in me and through me eliminating and destroying the kingdom of darkness. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am who God says I am. I can do what God says I can do. In Jesus name. Amen

"You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it useful again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world—like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
