*RESCUE THE LOST*
I say to you that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner who repents, more than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
(Luk 15:7 MKJV)
The entire purpose of God sending Jesus to the earth was to save a hurting and lost people. God didn’t send Jesus to condemn and judge the world but that the world could be rescued and saved from their sins. At times the very people we are meant to reach are the very ones we call demon possessed and avoid. These can even be people close to you or who you may dislike. The greatest joy is a true transformation of an unbeliever into a true passionate believer in Jesus Christ. As well the transformation of a religious lifeless believer to a revived passionate believer in Jesus Christ.
So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. (Luk 14:21 KJV)
The Gospel is an open invitation to all. Most often the ones who think they have no fault or need for Jesus, the proud arrogant and religious miss the true riches in Christ. On the other hand there are the broken, hurting and lost who embrace the Gospel when the revelation comes to them. Jesus says rather invite those who are in need to Him than those who think they don’t need Him. Help the lost.
Then Jesus said to his host, "When you give a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your rich neighbors---for they will invite you back, and in this way you will be paid for what you did. When you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind; and you will be blessed, because they are not able to pay you back. God will repay you on the day the good people rise from death."
(Luk 14:12-14 GNB)
Jesus dealt with all the outcasts in society and changed their lives. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: (Mat 15:30 KJV) Holy Ghost will give you wisdom and strategies to rescue the lost and backslidden.
*PRAY*
Holy Ghost work through me and fulfil your Will of rescuing the lost. I ask that you give me a patient and compassionate heart to be able to save those who are taken captive by the devil. Thank you Lord that you watch over your Word to perform it even through me. In the name of Jesus. Amen
