*KEEP BURNING*
John was the lamp that kept on burning and shining [to show you the way], and you were willing for a while to delight (sun) yourselves in his light. (Joh 5:35 AMP)
Jesus referred John as a burning and a shining light. We also likewise are lights set in heaven to give light to the earth. A light burns, a candle burns, the Spirit of God is the Holy fire that burns within us as Christians.
The book James speaks of the bad side of the tongue that is like an unruly fire.
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
(Jas 3:6 KJV) However if there is a bad fire there is also a good fire. This is the Power manifested by the tongue of righteous releasing life. As you continue to speak the Word of God you continue to burn with His Spirit so strongly. Speak it, meditate on it, shout it, sing it, roar it, and declare it, burn with Jesus.
It was prophesied that Jesus will keep hope alive. He will not break off a bent reed, nor put out a flickering lamp. He will persist until he causes justice to triumph, (Mat 12:20 GNB)
Even the smallest candles of hope in a person’s life, Jesus keeps it alive. Like rising up a person from a death bed, even so Jesus revives with His Spirit. As a believer we must receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and continue burning. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. (Act 2:3 KJV)
John Wesley said when he asked how he gathers such large crowds: I set myself on fire and people come and watch me burn. The righteous fire of God cannot be stopped. He breathes His Spirit on the flame and it spreads like a wild Holy fire. Be the flame that sparks the Holy righteous blessings fire and love of God in the lives of the people of the world.
*PRAY*
Jesus you said you would not quench even a small flame. Bring judgment unto victory to dark situations through me. Holy Ghost blow on me. Keep the fire of passionate love of God
Alive in me. Heavenly Father let me be your burning shinning light in Jesus name. Glory Halleluiah!
